Senior Consultant - Philanthropy

As a Pyramus Consulting Senior Consultant, focused on delivering operational process improvement solutions, you will learn and understand the Pyramus Method, and apply both your personal expertise in support of Pyramus' growing not-for-profit practice.

Specifically, you will help drive and support the Pyramus Consulting Philanthropy Management solution by assessing the client's current state; designing and structuring the client's future state through improved and more effective processes; implementing those solutions by standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the client and transferring knowledge. Your focus will be on delivering lasting and sustainable value to clients through consulting, mentoring and learning services. You will also be responsible for recognizing business needs during engagements and supporting the business development team in closing the business opportunities you identify.

Minimum Requirements - Knowledge and Skills 

  • Four-year college degree or specific relevant education (MBA preferred)
  • At least 6 years of business experience in a consulting role (either internal or external) focusing on foundations, charitable organizations, government sponsored programs, higher education, or other nonprofit client.
  • Experience delivering and selling Professional Services
  • Demonstrated workflow analysis capability
  • Demonstrated Business Process Improvement (BPI) capability  
  • Demonstrated ability to present, facilitate, and lead work sessions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects
  • Willingness to travel
